It’s a natural: Library partners with Nature Center for special story times, free admission!

Create an authentic connection with nature with free admission to the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge with your library card from 7 a.m. to noon the first Mondays of June, July and August!

On each of these special admission days, Nature Center and Library staff will present special Family Story Times starting at 10:30 a.m. at the Hardwicke Interpretive Visitors Center inside the Nature Center & Refuge. Enjoy the nature-related stories and then explore the natural beauty of your surroundings.

Each day will have a specific nature-related theme:

  • June 5: Trees

  • July 3: Life in the Soil

  • Aug. 7: Spiders

As a destination for discovery, your Fort Worth Public Library offers activities to foster a lifelong love of learning. We designed this program for all ages!
