October 2, 2026 Update
The City does not set the work schedule. The information shared below is based on the latest schedule the City received from the contractor. Weather and other factors can cause delays.
Fully completed work completed
- North Bailey Avenue from Sherwood Drive to Lakewood Road
- Lindenwood Drive from White Settlement Road to Crestwood Terrace
- Eastwood Avenue between 400 and 420 Eastwood Avenue
- Easement from Rockwood Park Drive to Crestwood Drive
Road Repairs
This work has three phases. The first phase is the concrete flat work, which entails repairing the curbs, gutters and driveways damaged by the utility work. The second phase is pulverizing the existing road from curb to curb, stabilizing and compacting the pulverized base material. The third phase is overlaying the base with asphalt. Before the asphalt is overlayed, the base must pass compaction tests.
The contractor’s latest projected pavement reconstruction schedule is outlined below. Weather could delay the schedule.

- Inspecting remaining construction work to ensure compliance with engineering plans and specifications.
What You can Do
- Do not park cars on the street to facilitate water line installation and road repairs. The contractor will leave door tags with information on these dates. Having cars parked on streets can delay completing the work.
- Homes on temporary water lines should limit outdoor watering to between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. Multiple homes running irrigation at the same time will impact pressure.
