North Side - Ellis Avenue Area - Water and Sewer Improvements

Existing water and sanitary sewer mains will be replaced in an area bound by NW 26^th Street to the north, North Main Street to the east, East Central Avenue to the south and Clinton Avenue to the west. Landmarks include the Stockyards, Fire Station #12, Marine Creek, and businesses.

Two segments have been added to this project because deteiorated cast iron water mains were discovered in the following area:

Ellis Avenue/Main Street from NW 23rd Street to West Northside Drive
West Northside Drive from North Main Street to North Commerce Street

The streets include:

Ellis Avenue from NW 26^th Street to West Central Avenue (water and sewer)
NW 25^th Street from the alley west of Ellis Avenue to North Main Street (water)
West Exchange Avenue from Clinton Avenue to North Main Street (water and sewer)
NW 24^th Street from Ellis Avenue to North Main Street (water)
NW 23^rd Street from Ellis Avenue to North Main Street (water)
NW 22^nd Street from Ellis Avenue to North Main Street (water)
NW 21^st Street from Ellis Avenue to North Main Street (water)
West Central Avenue from Ellis Avenue to North Main Street (water)
North Main Street from East Central Avenue to NE 14^th Street (water)
East Northside Drive from Commerce Street to Main Street (water)
Belmont Avenue from 19th Street to the north 141 feet (sewer)
19th Street from Belmont Avenue to the west 204 feet (sewer)
Alley between 19th Street and 141 feet north of Odd Street from the Belmont Avenue/10th Street intersection to the west 258 feet (sewer)
Easement between Belmont Avenue and Highland Avenue from 210 feet west of the Belmont Avenue/19th Street intersection to the south 285 feet (sewer)

This capital improvement project is in Fort Worth Council District 2. Construction will impact the North Side neighborhood association and the Inter-District 2 Alliance.
