The Westside III 24-inch diameter water transmission main will be constructed perpendicular to the proposed Westside III 42-inch diameter water transmission main that will extend from the Westside Water Treatment Plant on Old Weatherford Road to just south of I-20.
The 24-inch diameter main is south of Interstate 20. It will extend from the termination point of the Westside III 42-inch water transmission main to the intersection of I-20 at Chapin School Road.
The 42-inch diameter main and the 24-inch diameter main connect at the water ground storage tank site just south of I-20 and west of Markum Ranch Road. The Westside III 24-inch diameter water main and the Westside III 42-inch diameter water main will connect to the Westside II ground storage tank and the Westside IV and the Westside V pump stations.
The majority of the Westside III 24-inch diameter water transmission main is in Fort Worth’s extraterritorial jurisdiction, southeast of Fort Worth Council District 3 and west of the city of Benbrook.
