Water utility proposes increases to water and wastewater rates

The Water Utility’s balanced Fiscal Year (FY) 2027 proposed budget is $732,727,973, which is 8.7%, or $58,556,828 more than the FY2026 budget. This budget increase translates to a 3.6% system rate increase for water and a 2.85% percent system rate increase for wastewater.

FWACC celebrates 45 adoptions at MEGA Adoption Event

Fort Worth Animal Care & Control is proud to celebrate 45 dog adoptions at the Humane Society of North Texas' MEGA Adoption Event this weekend. Over the course of two days, nearly 1,000 adoptable animals were brought together under one roof, giving families the opportunity to meet pets from shelters across North Texas.
