Recommended Budget
In August, the city manager shares a recommended budget with the City Council. This is currently scheduled for the August 11 budget work session.
Community Events
After the recommended budget is presented in August, community events will be held in neighborhoods across the city, and streamed online. At these events, city staff will be available to answer questions about the recommended budget. Schedule and locations TBD.
Budget Adoption
In September, the council holds a public hearing where you can speak on the budget. After this, City Council votes on the final budget and tax rate for the upcoming year. This is currently scheduled for the September 15 City Council meeting.
