Brentwood Stair Road Area Water and Sewer Improvements

Existing water and sewer mains will be replaced in an area bound by Brentwood Stair Road to the north, East Loop 820 to the east, Normandy Road to the south and Carl Street to the west.

Cast iron water lines will be replaced on:

• Carl Street
• N Edgewood Terrace
• Holt Street
• Brentwood Stair Road
• Rockhill Court
• Charlott Street

After the water and sewer main replacements are installed the streets will be paved with asphalt.  

This capital improvement project is in Fort Worth Council District 11 and Fort Worth Council District 5. 

Fort Worth Council District 11 streets include:

• Carl Street from Menzer Street to Normandy Road (water and sewer)
• Edgewood Terrace from Kemble Street to Normandy Road (water and sewer)
• Holt Street from Brentwood Stair Road to Kemble Street (water and sewer)
• Brentwood Stair Road from Schilling Drive to Holt Street (water)
• Rockhill Court from Charlott Street to the cul-de-sac (water)
• Charlott Street from Rockhill Road to Blueridge Drive (water and sewer)
• Easement north of Charlott Street from 250 feet north of the  Charlott Street/Rockhill Road intersection to northeast 200 feet (sewer)

Fort Worth Council District 5 streets include:

• Brentwood Stair Road from 470 feet north of the Brentwood Stair Road/Brentwood Drive intersection to the north 300 feet (water)
• Brentwood Stair Road from 50 feet northeast of the Brentwood Drive/Bradford Place intersection to the east 180 feet (water)

Construction will impact the West Meadowbrook neighborhood association, Neighborhoods of East Fort Worth, Central Meadowbrook, Eastern Hills HOA and Brentwood Oak Hills. 

This project was previously called the East Fort Worth Tri-District Water and Sewer Improvement project when Fort Worth Water hosted a WebEx community design meeting in January 2023. Since then the project has been broken down in to two parts.
